This is so poignant ....

I did notice, and you are absolutely right .....

I allowed myself to get sabotaged again, and neglected to acknowledge.

Stout, I am so sorry, :( .... but in a roundabout way, I have proved your sage maxim.

(Any advice on getting rid of stalking females? :? )

Other than by my beautiful wife, I have never had the pleasure of being stalked, in this one instance I capitulated and we married.
In your case, if one woman stalks another, sooner or later the fur will fly and both will become targets for the amusement of those who gleefully add fuel to the fire.
I would suggest a burial of hatchets (withdrawal of claws) and an attempt to establish the fact that women have the capacity to see through men more easily than vice-versa. :)

Have not heard any more from him since he last contacted me, he did say he would make an effort in a week or so, I think he was a bit upset with me for taking up his case and he did not like the bad language and insults.
I was angry about the whole thing myself, I should have kept my nose out of it I reckon.

No I could see where you were coming from ... and no doubt so did Eliko ... but he is a wise sage and I am sure he said what he did to you in order to terminate your cause ..... because he could foresee where it was going.

Stout it would not have done you any good to carry on trying to reason with FreeSpirit ad infinitum ....... you have so much more to offer, and I am sure that is what Eliko saw.

Let's both cheer up ... let's banish the Bubbles and the FreeSpirits to the forum trashcan and move on and enjoy ourselves and our verbosity ....

I like the verbosity bit, usually I am told that I am a man of few words [especially when the wife is about]

"What makes a good ruler of people?" was the question asked, nobody seems to have come up with much in the way of an answer, it might have been better to ask "What makes a bad ruler of people?" and that would be a lot easier.
Liars and thieves for a start, then you could go on to idiots, like the MP who has come up with the idea of issuing licences for smokers !!, if that one becomes law, its possible that soon you will need a licence for a shite in England.

I wonder if it will work in Cyprus.

Speaking of being too busy to notice, Stout:

Yep, thanks a lot, Stout ... yep ... discounting my answer. Was it the pronoun "her" that threw you off?

I made my remark Filitsa, because I was a bit surprised at the way the subject went off topic so quickly, it was not intended as a slight to any who tried to discuss the matter, neither was it a criticism of those that did not, just an observation thats all, no offence. :)
