Paphitis , welcome to the forum , I entirely agree with your post.
Cyprus needs and International friendly president not Comrade material !
Are you from Paphos originally , I was born in Stroumbi , near Polemi , Yiolou and Kathikas.
I got lost round there this morning.
We took a trip to find the Sulphur springs and although we got close enough to get a definite whiff (although it could have been our dog in the back ) ..... I could not for the life of me find them.
We drove round and round the gorgeous hills, full of almond and cherry blossom-dusted trees and finely cropped vines, until we somehow ended up back in Polis ...
Any hints?
Not quite sure of the exact location but maybe when I'm there in March we could all try and discover them !!
Here it is again !!
Coming from Polis, before reaching Giolou you will see a sign to Miliou. Turn right at the sign and you will find an old monatery (Ay. Anargiri) after about one kilometer. Thats where the sulpher springs are. The monastery is being turned into a Hotel of a kind (they have been working on this for years now without getting very far). That's where the sulpher springs are, but can't seem to be any access to it yet. Miliou is a beautiful village, that's where I get our honey from.
