Illegal Trees

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

If he damaged community property to put the trees in, I'd suggest paying a visit to the local Committee offices. Your local president might have something to say about it. The trees are obviously not on his land…

Why muck about poisoning them? If they're not on his land, just take them out and put them into his garden. Whatever you do, confrontation looms.

I'd start with a letter to the committee, then wade in with the napalm if that fails.

Its easy to say don't kill the trees, but they won't be blocking sunlight and views from your appartment. With power lines directly above them, it can cause problems with the electricity.

I do agree, palm trees are nice, but be fair about this. When it comes to selling the appartment further down the line, the value will drop as there will be no light coming in and won't be able to see anything outside.

DIE TREE DIE :(

Trees & power lines = zip, zap,& dance = death trap!

Hazza,
Maybe you could talk to your neighbour and get him to agree to maintaining the palms to a minimum height and then, hopefully everyone is happy?!?

Removing the paving slabs sounds pretty dodgy to me, as does the use of ropes. Do the ropes cause an obstruction? You could use this if your neighbour is uncooperative and you end up having to go to the authorities as suggested by Kalahari.
