This is what the PKK wants.

Also if Democracy is whats important as you GC's claim it to be so, then why should the majority let the minority take a part of Turkey and declare it as Kurdistan?

I thought that's what exactly you are trying to stop us from doing here, except we have already taken it and the PKK is still working on it and will never be able to do it because they are weak.
So if you think the Kurds should be allowed to take their piece of land and declare independence then why don't you want us do it smart ass racist little cocksucker?

Or why don't you recognize Kosovo?

Oh are you not respecting minority rights then? Or do you only bitch about minority rights when its not your country in question?

We should meet up someday Palio and chat face to face, its easy being a keyboard hero isn't it, plus we might learn a thing or two about each other and who knows maybe even make friends. ;)

ouch....thats gonna hurt in the morning. I'll let the rest question you on that one before i ask my questions Shah.

Talk about justifying actions.

No Miltiades you sentimental old fool ...

She is supposed to be a 21 (? ) year old female GC who has spent virtually all her life in UK ...

Yet she sounds like the male generation of Deniz and yourself ... Wake up!

Watch it Oracle or I might just burst into another song !!!
Still got my guitars , 3 of them , and my dear old Bouzouki broken somehow but still remembers out hot times together !!
Sofia is indeed the age she says , she eounds it and she is indeed a Cypriot , a G/C .
Are you a wine drinker PO ?
Filitsa the AUSRALIAN SHIRAZ , of the CABERNET SAUVIGNON VARIETY , is indeed a very refined and elegant red .
This particular one from South Eastern Australia , situated near the largest wine producing area of Australia , the Great Bay , where some 40 or so percent of Australian wines come from. The climate in this area is very similar to the Mediterranean type and wines grown here similar to wines in European wine growing regions.
One of the greatest Australian reds , Cabernet Sauvignor I ever had was a 1986 MONTROSE , following an argument with my wife I opened a bottle and do you know what ? Have never argued since , that was just before new years day , December 30th 2007 ..It was her birthday and she wouldnt have it that she was not 21 years old !!
You can ask me about wine anytime , I have so many stories involving the most pleasurable activity I have ever participated in !!

Thanks for this, Miltiades. I've a rapidly growing affinity for Australian reds, particularly Shiraz. Do you recall the name on the label gifted to you by Denizaksulu?

Any recommendations come appreciated.

Happy 21st b'day to the wife! Cheers!

Filitsa, earlier you had asked mine or Miltiades opinion of the Shiraz. I am no wine expert, I do not sniff corks and all that Jazz. I just go by what my instinct tells me. I first went for Shiraz two years ago and I liked it. The aroma and flavour was acceptable to my taste buds and thats all. Me and Miltiades have sooo much in common, I prayed that we have the same taste for the red. He being the connes........whatever the word is, I dare not ask him his opinion myself on this 'off the shelf' wine from either Sainsbury's or M&S. I prefered it over more expensive French reds. Thats all I have to say about it.

Cheers to you and my friend Mltiades

Thank you, Deniz. It will be a while before I see Sainsbury's or M&S again. Nevertheless, I'm guessing that both you and Miltiades have forgotten the name on the label. ???

Sorry Filitsa , I completely forgot the wine sesion evolved on this thread .
The wine given to me by my dear friend Deniz , which I polished off last evening came from the vineyards of Wolf Blass , red label type . Thourougly enjoyed it.
Continuing tonight with another Australian Cabernet Sauvignon also Western Australian this time a HARMAN'S RESERVE 2005 , Not certain where I got it from , you see most of my wine come from either the Times wine club or from Davidsons .I do pick up some bargains now and again from various sources , a few weeks back I hit the jackpot and bought 3 bottles of Cht.Latour , Pauillac 87 , not the best vintage but having drunk one bottle so far I think it was a bargain.
The 1982 Latour , is priceless ! Have a bottle ready to crack open tomorrow in celabration of Kassoulides becoming the 6th president of the ROC !!
Cheers

The name on the label was AUSRALIAN SHIRAZ , of the CABERNET SAUVIGNON. I usually purchase the one produced under the name BURRA BROOK of South Eastern Australia.

I am going to mallosi the wine connoiseurs in here.

The grape variety is Syrah, not Shiraz. The Australians mixed up the carpet making town of Persia (Shiraz) with the grape variety. And no, it is not a sub variety of Cabernet. And you are all wrong, I am not a wine snob. But I do like the stuff!!!!

Has anyone tried the Cypriot grown Syrah wines yet? Reports are favorable but here in Greece we cannot get any Cypriot wine or spirits except Koumandaria, which is not for serious drinking. We get French wines at about half the price of Greek wines, a bonus of the EU!

Thank you, gentleman, and no need to apologize, Miltiades. If I post further on wine, I'll start a new thread. I've been feeling bad about posting "off topic," especially considering the discussion has been about an indulgence while Turkey is invading Iraq. Being the instigator, I take full responsibility, as you were simply obliging me.

Tangentially, I've found the signature for which I've been searching so long and hard :D ...

Mi me maloneis, Nikitas. I don't profess to be a wine connoisseur. Although the grape variety is key, if it pleases my palate, then they can call it "Skata" for all I care.
