Why do you think I mention the divisive and separatist nature of the 1960's Agreement?
That was the virus which spread the disease which gave Turkey the excuse for the WRONG treatment.
With consultation we will find the right cure .......
With your kindpermission OrPh. My view is that the 'virus's' existed prior to the 1960's agreements. The leaders pre-1960 suddenly saw Nationalism as a boost to this 'viral' attack, The 1960'agreements merely just confirmed it. Now, how do you reverse this disease which has divided us way before 1960? Brainwash a population of nearly a million? If there are many more like you this will be impossible to eradicate.

Really ....
If "New Orleans" and "Seattle" where as close in proximity as "TC" and "GC" villages would be ..... you will soon see how your system would oscillate out of control.

So no TC got raped nor murdered only to be dumped into a big grave along with the rest of the village?
IS THAT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING PHOENIX?
This is you understanding of DEFENCE?
Systematic execution of unarmed villages full of women and children which were gathered around with other promises is FAR from defense, call me an idiot but i think it starts blending into the borders of genocide.
By defence I mean the GCs did not invade another country in order to massacre its people and take over its government ... as Turkey did to Cyprus.
By defence I mean the GCs were fighting for survival in their own country which was under attack from a neighbouring country, Turkey.
By defence I mean the GCs were having to consider how to survive under the continual barrage of systemic infiltration of Cyprus by Turkey.

She doesn't answer any questions like this because she suffers from selective dyslexia, anything that even hints at any GC wrongdoing is totally ignored. That is why her posts are so boring, she "lights the touchpaper" and stands well back allowing others with a little more insight to carry on the discussion - and just popping in now and then when she has thumbed through the dictionary to add a few inane comments...........
She doesn't have the intelligence and forethought to have a real discussion - all she has are her well rehearsed comments and racist prattling.

There's no problem in having Starbucks coffee from Seattle and a Jambalaya dish from New Orleans at your dinner table Oracle.
The truth is, I really don't know what is it, that was in your statement that you were trying to make. One minute you wanted to "blend" and the next minute, you find two different places not to your liking if they are a little different from each other.
A little variety may spice up your life a little Oracle.

Tess,
I have often wondered about you with great interest. Here you are, an Irish girl living with your TC partner in the "TRNC" and very often have also adopted the point of views of those living in the "TRNC", as your above post suggests.
Do you realise, that you would be talking differently had you met and lived with a GC partner in the RoC.
Just an observer from a distance.
