Wow, that's amazing. I know we all have many dreams when we sleep but hardly remember any of them upon waking up, but to remember all your dreams must be fascinating and strange at the same time.

I have an idea GG if you are willing to do it, and that is, why don't you open a "GG's Dreams" thread and tell us each day what you dreamt. Perhaps it will help you get rid of them once you have written them down. You can publish your own "Dream Book" once you have enough of them GG.

Good luck.

sounds interesting, but i don't think too many people care all that much about what i dream about.

I will be very interested GG. To most of us, we only remember parts of a dream, like watching a film but leaving and coming back to it every 5 minutes. The whole dream is all over the place. It makes as much sense as being on "Crack".!!

Not that I know anything about being on "Crack", you understand.

Kikapu, i am thinking about this one. however, my dreams are very often fragmented, and might be about friends or things going on in my life. i am afraid they would probably mean very little to anyone but me. last night, for instance, i dreamt i was putting together a concert on a very small scale, jason mraz was the performer.... my friend maureen was there, and Mraz wanted everyone to dance in pairs across the stage, which maureen and i did.... and during intermission, i requested a song...
which i woke up singing...and i had to play about 15 times....

kikapu,
you would have gotton a kick out of last nights dream. i had befriended a prostitute in a brothel, and she got me a job there, because i confessed to her that l liked performing (or is it being the reciver of?) a particular act that doesn't need to go into detail here. anyway, i was excited at the prospects, until she got picked by a client for a "job." after being left alone, i had second thoughts about this new job of mine, and so i left. there was absolutely no pressure to perform from my new employers, so i was free to go, and i did.... the next thing i know, i was with my father, we were driving somewhere, and had to get gas for the car, which was perfect timing, as i was in need of making a rest stop.
funny, how alot of my dreams end in trying to fing a toilet! but then by that time in the early morning hours, i am in need of one. i usually find ones that are not usable.
(the night before i dreamt of going with a bunch of friends of mine, including a former "boyfriend" and his mother, to some spa to take baths, which ended in the spa people showing us a toilet--the only toilet in the place--but it wsa not working--just for show.)

GG,

These are all great little stories of your dreams, but you do know GG, that most things that you are dreaming are what is in your subconscious mind. Some are your "wants and wishes" which may or may not be true for you in your conscious mind, as well as your fantasies. No matter how weird they may appear in your dreams, at some point in your life you have either read, spoken, seen, experienced or wish you had and so on. You are very lucky to be able look into your inner self with your dreams that you remember, where as to most of us, we do not have a clue what our subconscious mind is doing.

Some of us do not even know what our conscious minds are doing here on the forum.

Funny you should mention toilets. Let me tell the world, that public toilets in the states are very disgusting unless they are in nice hotels and restaurants and shopping malls, but any other places, they do not fair as well.

When ever we do a road trip with the car, which most of our vacations are as such, my worse nightmare traveling with my girlfriend is, that at any given moment she is going to say either "I need a toilet very soon or I need to eat something very soon". Travelling in remote places is always a challenge to find places to satisfy the above, so you are not alone when it comes to needing a "Johnny on the spot".

Kikapu,

i am quiet aware of dreams having meanings, many subconciously. i enjoy trying to figure out where they come from. sometimes it can just be an item i heard on the news, which is why i try to watch very little news or anything of the negative sorts.
I also find that dreams can help guide one into solving certain issues. there was a time when my family would have no contact with me. this lasted 6 years. during that time, i would have recurring dreams where i would get so angry at them for not listening to me, that i would start destroying everything in my path. i was even ripping wallpaper off the walls in my dreams, and my family would just watch me, not stopping me, and showing no emotions whatsoever. these recurring dreams guided me into an attempt to resolve the issues that were causing them not to speak with me. It took a few years, but i finally did it. (although family relations continue to be strained, they are much better than they were).

GG,

American Politics just got 10,000°'s hotter today, so perhaps we should make space for that on this thread and move your dream stories to the thread suggested by Oracle. Thanks.

"The Fat Lady has Sung"...!!!

No, I don't mean Hillary Clinton. She is having a hard time swallowing (unlike Monika) her defeat just yet. She is going to demand to be a VP (vice president) to Obama, so atleast any misfortunes that might happen to him while in office, she can be only a "heartbeat" away from becoming the first woman president. If she doesn't get it, she will go on a "scorch earth" policy to get McCain to win in November, so that she can try one more time for the presidency in 2013 against McCain.

Once again, the Clintons which I have supported since 1992 are up to their no good mischievous ways of doing things their way, which at times remains to be admired and many times I have criticized them for it. At times, the Clintons have become the charlatans or the slimy used car salesman type of people. However, Barack Obama will wait and see how many of Clinton's supporters will see her what she is and defect to him in the coming weeks and months before deciding on taking her on as a VP, all the while holding his nose while doing it.

I hope Cypriots will learn a lesson in what can be achieved in a True Democracy, where a Black man who was only allowed to vote in the last 50 years or so, is on the home stretch as becoming the first black president, who comes from only the 10% of the American society. The blacks never asked for unreasonable power sharing or veto powers. They were just glad to be equal citizens by allowing to be equal to other Americans and have one man one vote. They have earned the respect despite being used as slaves in the past, and treated as second class citizens for a long time, and now, with the overwhelming support by the "white" Americans, Barack Obama will be our next President of the United States.

I have been neglecting this topic for a while, and as much as the Cyprus politics is important to me, so is the USA politics.

First off all I have few things to say to all those "white women" who have been pissing and moaning over Hillary's defeat at the hands of a Black Man. They made the claim that sexism played part in her defeat and that they were not going to support Barack but sit out of the election, vote for McCain, or just write Hillary's name on the ballot anyway. Let me tell you something you bunch of Brainless dimwit "white trash" idiots. Hillary lost the primaries more on her own then Obama won on his own. She had miscalculated her own importance and took it for granted that the Democratic Nomination was hers as an entitlement, just because she thought she was another Eva Peron (Evita).

I have been supporters of the Clinton's for many years, and just like most Democrats, we were ready to vote her as the next President of the USA. Even a monkey will be able to do a better job than Bush, so it was not going to be very hard to get her in the office. But in True Democracy, we have choices unlike in Dictatorships, and for a while, I believe Hillary actually believed, that the next US Presidency was hers without even having to lift a finger, so, therefore she had neglected in counting on smaller states to win their votes, because by and large, the 800 Super delegates were "promised" to her through their connections to these political insiders. Well, as the old saying goes" never count your chicks, until the eggs hatch". Well, when the eggs hatched, there was one black one amongst all the other white ones, and that was Obama, who had done his homework and reached out to every state and their votes, and that is the reason why he won, and second reason, many Democrats wanted a good reason for not voting for Hillary, and they found it in Obama. Both Hillary and Bill are in state of shock that this "nobody" Omama has come from nowhere to "steal" the white house from them, and all their "white trash" supporters are feeling their pain with them.

Hillary is now over $20 Million Dollars in the hole with her debt during the primaries. Like most Americans, she spent more than she had, so she borrowed from others as well as from herself, and now wants Obama to help pay her debt. Wait just one god damn minute. Where are all those 18 million followers of hers who are crying out their little eyes out, that Hillary was not treated right, and that she lost, who was going to be the voice for all the women out there. If all her supporters mailed in $1 and 25cents each, she will be able to pay of her debts and still have some money left over to have a Big Mac. So what happened to all her supporters out there, that they are not helping her, and instead they are threatening to vote for McCain. This is where women get bad names as being brainless sometimes by wanting to vote for McCain even if it means harming themselves on the long run with Supreme Court appointments. It is called "cutting off your own nose despite your face". Perfect for some of these idiot women as well as some idiot men also, who say, "it's Hillary or nothing". What a bunch of losers.

At this point, I think Republicans haven't understood quite how badly they've pissed people off. Koolaid Man has a pretty decent chance simply for this reason. Have you seen all those idiots out there looking to change their middle names to Hussein? Doesn't this make you want to vomit?

Obamalamadingdong is a horrible choice for the presidency - just as bad as McCombover. He's got an absolutely brainless following that's putting him on a pedestal from which it will be impossible to succeed - not to mention that his entire platform is comprised of little more than empty rhetoric. Not to mention that he has no problem being slightly less than honest when it comes to getting more money for himself. But hey - people were stupid enough to vote for Bush twice. One failed tin god will simply be replaced by another.

Some better analogies for this are "be careful what you ask for - you might get it" and "meet the new boss, same as the old boss."
