started introducing him self starting with his name , his position at the Society and that he was , before retiring , an English teacher at the Lanition Gymnasion in Limassol. I felt a lump in my throat and became emotional on realising that Mr Zahariou was my English teacher at the Lanition in 1960/61 , just before I left to come to the UK in October of 1961.
On arriving here I wrote to him in English , showing off , and he responded , that was the last contact we had. Haven't seen or spoken to him since 1961 , 47 years ago !!
I shall make a point , having been given his mobile number of meeting him in Limassol.
Something good already has happened .

That is such a poignant story, it brought a tear to my eye!
I went onto the website as posted by Oracle and tried to make a donation via my mobile whilst I was just sitting here!! I have just received a text message back saying that I am not allowed. My phone is under a 'pay as you go so easy card'. Does that make any difference do you know?
I do not possess a cheque book and do not trust cash in the mail, so if you could tell me the exact address I do not mind making a 'personal delivery donation'.
Cheers
