Naive I believe are the people who are sending those emails which I find silly but amusing.
I never meant to accuse of anyone rejecting Christofias as such, because each one of us has his own beliefs and morals.
But rejecting him based on that would be naive dont you think?
Similarly a person who would be influenced against Kasoulides by a doctored picture of him with a Hitler mustache and a Swastika on our flag would also be naive.
Let me assure you that Miltiades has a lot more on his hands right now to indulge himself in spam mail. As I have stated before , I have no political affiliations in Cyprus , I respect all parties and hope that the democratic rights gained by our people by emulating and adopting Western standards will not be jeopardised should the unthinkable happens and we become the first European nation with a communist leader .
I will emphasize once more that I have nothing against Mr Christofias neither do I question his intentions or his credentials but I'm concerned that his communist ideals will be an obstacle of immense proportions in soliciting support for our cause from those with enough influence and power that has been so far exercised in averting recognition of the TRNC and ultimately the division of our island and the introduction of a potential conflict amongst our people sometime in the future .
Turkey will rejoice on Sunday should comrade Christofias win , that will be the nail on the coffin as far as a united Cyprus is concerned.
I express again my concerns that should Cyprus become the first communist led European nation , that day , Sunday the 24th , will be recorded as another black day in the history of our nation.
