Having intruded on the thread about Greek/Cypriot names,, sorry K, thought it best if I started this one!

After asking what Greek name you would like to be called, I now ask what name (worldwide) you would not like to be called? Any reason behind it?
You may choose either sex names.

The name Mike Hunt springs to mind when said quickly.

This is a great one for the tannoy. Just get the caller to ask for mike Hunt and sit back and enjoy.

If a Turkish speaking Cypriot went on a pilgrimage and his name was NAIM, then he would be called Hadji Naim. Very unfortunate as it means a whore monger. (a madamme to be exact).
