My theory is that the Ladies Mile is actually called "To Bezodromio" (sidewalk/pavement) because years ago, abandoned British soldier's wives would end up “working the mile” there to make ends meet... 8)

Long, fairly quiet and undeveloped beach just south of Limassol port.

takes me about 4 minutes to cross it all on a windsurfing... from Last restaurant to the First. :)
Been warned by SBA Police few times for speeding :D

It's agreat beach, my family and I used to go there often with my cousins before Turkey Invaded our island and my parents left.

When I was young we used to visit a Cypriot priest.He told the story of a ex British Officer who used to gallop his horse along the sand.It was measured a mile and timed,the horse was called Lady.
