Kokos (Gogos) was my best friends name in our village. Is it short for something? I met the son of Kokos last easter. I was delighted, as his father has passed away two years previous.

Somehow, over the years the name "Kokos" has gradually become the preferred name given to GC-owned parrots!

Ok, if I remember well it's short for "Giorgos" or George in English.

I am sure his brother was Yorgi(George). Maybe they were cousins.
