Lets hope your new leader will desire a solution enough to compromise and negotiate a the best solution for all. We all need to understand the other sides concerns allowing for the ideology of 2 equal communities sharing 1 country.

Compromise on what? giving half my country to Turkey because an intransigent separatisg group of TC's want so. Forget it.

The key to any settlement is to win the TC community and to make them a part of Cyprus not an outsider. Only at that time TCs will force Turkey to go home and Turkey realise there is no reason to be on the island. There are high chances for that to happen If we adopt the right strategy.
All you need to do is to put yourself on their shoes like what Birkibrisli did many times in the past.
