Sometimes the answer is so obvious and simple we just can't see it...

If people have a psychological block about going back to the 1960 agreements,we can always take the Annan Plan and negotiate a BBF to start with,one which will not make "partition" set in concrete...Then begin the education and the reconciliation campaign to build trust and compassion etc. My point is ,time is of utmost importance,we can't afford to start from the scratch and hope for a final solution tomorrow. And we can't afford to let others find or impose a solution on us,like the last time...
Lets hope whoever wins on Sunday can lift himself above the level of a politician,and acts like a statesman...Who knows the Other side might find his spine too and respond in kind...We have nothing to lose but our foreign rulers!

Next time someone poses a question to a TC, and I am feeling brave .... I shall reply to it myself, attempting your experiment of wearing the others' shoes.

I'll keep doing it until it becomes second nature ....

I agree with shahmaran.

It's not my fault my ancestors came to Cyprus ... in the way that people did in those days.

I have grown up in the TRNC and it is my home... my little place of sanctuary on this mad planet. Sure we have more space than the GCs in the south, but we did not ask for so much. There are big, bad guys out there making the decisions.

If more people came to live with us, we can adapt. We want the opportunity to show people how nice we can be now that we are not fighting for survival.
