Will Tallat honour his committment?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Will Tallat honour his committment?

Postby humanist » Mon Feb 18, 2008 10:48 pm

A few weeks ago in Zaman (if its a credible source ofcourse) Talat claimed his dream is for a united Cyprus. Now with dear Pap's out of the presidency will he adhere to July 8th agreement and come to the party for a United Cyprus or will he continue on his path for partition. No more blaming Papadopoulos so lets see how much of a liar he can be shall we?

Andreas, Talat and the T/Cs have no say for the future of Cyprus. It's all between the ROC and Turkey.

Contrary to common belief, both Turkey and the TCs have the best interest of Cyprus deep in their hearts.

I don't doubt that the TCs have deep interest of Cyprus in there hearts. They don't seem to have any say though. Turkeys deep interest in Cyprus goes only as deep as it's pockets.

Mr - NG no offence but that coment does not illustrate to me that there is willingness tfrom the TC's to change anything. How can you claim that an occupying force that is not welcomed by the majority of this country have the best interest. A guarantor will be fighting for an independant status of this Island nation at the same time advocating for policies and procedures to safeguard minority populations.

Anyway gotta go to work .......... take care all.

Talat is hated by the TC nationalists because he wants unification......You have no better friend than he.......The tricks that Tpap wanted to play with the July agreement played into the hands of the nationalists and an open ended discussion was not something that he could allow.....Tpap is gone and if he has no finger in the pie then maybe a time scale can be put on this and an agreement reached.....Tpap wanted the siege to go on and it clearly cannot be allowed to.
