As I live in a flat roofed concrete bunker quaintly described as a typical Cyprus build I often find it warmer outside than in

It’s not the flatness of the roof it is the um, concreteness of it that causes the problem… same here.

Twenty tonnes of reinforced concrete above your head – impossible to warm up in the winter and impossible to cool down in the summer… :-(
