I want to move south from the north. I have furniture and a cat. Can anyone help me or advise me who I contact. Someone out there must have done it already! Come on???
Can I take my furniture across the border or do i have to ship it around the island? I am an EU citizen. Who do i speak to to get more info? Is there someone that specialised in this field.
Contact a removal firm in the South. It may mean a handover at the border, but there should be no real problem.Goods come across the border on a daily basis with very little trouble.
I think best that you can do is sell your things on keyrenia or nicosia at north, try to bring with you less thing that can you cross border with car one by one.. and the bigegr things ou should buy at the sought.. I live north at nicosia but crosss the border very often.. I know at the border they check you.. or you better try to talk at the border-costum police of greek site.. or try to cross border at Pile border, there are no greek cosrom officers there!!
First of all there is no "border", but a cease fire line.
My suggestion to you is to sell everything in the occupied areas, go back to your country, and then come back legally to Cyprus. Otherwise you may have problems.

Travel yes. But apparently he was doing a lot more than just traveling.
Furthermore we really don't like foreigners that stay there - usually in our properties, so maybe he would prefer to hide this fact. Just a friendly advice, he doesn't need to follow it if he doesn't want to.
Get real Piratis, thousands of your countrymen, women and children go across the green line every month. Not to see the old villages, relatives, but to gamble, eat, drink, stay in hotels. The last time I was there our hotel was full of Greek Cypriots.
No doubt you deny this,or maybe can explain why they are there.I am sorry, but get used to cross green line travel, from tourists and Greek Cypriots.
