A plea to everyone...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

A plea to everyone...

Postby cymart » Mon Feb 18, 2008 1:21 pm

Cyprus now has a historic opportunity to leave the past behind and look forward to a better future as a European state.By all means learn from the past and remember its lessons but always look forwards and not backwards.Remember the loved ones you lost and pray they are at peace but most of all, remember you all have one lovely island called Cyprus and your karma in this life is to share it and learn to live happily! What your name is or what language you speak etc. does not matter, just that you forgive each other and then move on with enjoying life in this beautiful part of the world which so many people from abroad have spent billions buying homes to retire to!
Make a start by displaying the Cyprus flag everywhere and not someone elses-what's wrong with it?Take down that hideous barrier in Ledra St-(and everywhere else!)human beings live on both sides, not wild animals!
Do it by next Sunday-Talat,get the soldiers away from there,we don't need them any more! And get rid of that awful carving on the side of the Pentadactylos mountains, plant some olive trees and save electricity!
On a more personal level,I have seen some vile and aggressive verbal attacks among people from both sides on this forum-PLEASE STOP THEM- you are all intelligent and decent people at heart I'm sure so why do it??
Today is the first day of the future, and despite the cold cloudy weather ,spring is in the air in more ways than one!You all know what I mean so let's keep it that way!
Love and peace really can solve problems-why not give it a try, especially as its free as well!
Baris ve dostluk-eirini kai filia- peace and friendship to all of you!I KNOW you can do it and the world is with you!

Sincere best wishes to everyone for the future of Cyprus!
Martin.

How?

Postby cymart » Mon Feb 18, 2008 1:44 pm

Start with the mindset that the other side also wants a solution, rather than trying to find proof that they don't and go on from there-it's a domino effect, solve one little problem and others will follow until the 'wall comes tumbling down' like it did in Berlin!!

So what is that “solution” Mahatma or do you only specialize in writing aimless drivel of “love” to score brownie points?

Hey Cymart completely agree the problem is to many dumbf@#ks on this island don't really give a shite as long as they keep profiting from it.

Why? Did Turkey end its occupation and allowed legality, democracy and human rights?

Where will you and Phoenix get your brownie points from now on GR. Tpapa in hiding now. Who will you serve. It is not the peaceful people of Cyprus for sure.

I totally agree with you Cymart if people believe peace can happen then it will. It is down to the people to make Cyprus how they want it and to stop passing the book.
