Everything Turkish has to go from political influence in Cyprus.

Cyprus is 100% RoC.

Get used to it ... countries are not for sharing.

Countries are not for sharing????? So you don't want me to share my country Cyprus with you??? So one of us have to go????Which one???The numerically superior or militarily superior????

There must be a third way,Oracle, don't you think???
Your mentality is part of the problem. A big part. So it can't be part of the solution...Think about it,please... :( :(

Closing your eyes will not make the trnc go away. Whatever you and I think about it...Think about that too...

Yes Bir you are spot on , there is a third way , your way and mine , our way Bir as true Cypriots sharing our ancestral land , thousands upon thousands of Cypriots proclaim the same message , hard to convince the extremists and encourage them to move away from their intractable positions but their message will be harder on the future generations to digest.

Hello, dear miltiades...I wish people can see it is the Third Way or the Highway... :) What makes us unique as people,as human beings,is our Cypriotness, not our Greek or Turkish ethnic backgrounds. You remove our Cypriotness and we are left with Nothing...At best, misunderstood and begrudgingly tolerated, insulted and belittled second-rate Turks or Greeks.
Is that what we inspire to become????? Or a proud nation of tolerant ,compassionate Cypriots, rejoicing in their multiethnic, multilingual, multireligious diversity???? 8) 8) 8)

miltiades are you for a BBF?

On principle yes because it would pave the way for a sustainable democracy and human rights for all Cypriots .As I already expressed many times , I do not consider minorities and majorities , as an example I believe that I Miltiades standing amongst 700 thousand or so G/Cs do not have any more rights and privileges that you VP standing with 140 thousand T/Cs or Kafenes with less than 10 thousand Armenian Cypriots.
All are Equal as Cypriots , where equality ends its when a section of Cypriots denounce their Cypriot identity and claim a perceived foreign identity.

This ideology can be seen as camaflouge to allowing GCs to manipulate their numerical advanatge to keep TCs Armenians etc out of the picture, We do not trust GCs to do the right thing or choose the right man for the job, we have doubts and are suspicious about this newly adopted we are all Cypriots viewpoint where was it in 1963 and why did GCs stay silent during our suffering. Trust has to be built up and this will not happen over night we have to take it one step at a time and the only way I can see forward is either BBF like the AP (with amendments) or if we cannot agree on BBF then the only alternative is agreed partition. This shoudl be known from the outset so that both sides can work for a solution within a time frame otherwisw negotiations will used to score points rather than solve issues.

...i ask you kindly, read my proposal and put some effort into it.

there is a third way, it starts with the principal of bicommunality.

it starts with what we have, a Constitution in need of reform.

it starts with the good faith and compassion that all of us have, to fight real enemies, such as ignorance.

i read whole topics such as this one with little gained except the knowledge that we all care.

it is up to us, and people like us. it is the will of people which drives politicians to change.
