The Greek & Turkish "ethnic" CANCER of Cyprus…

As a result of Sunday's election results Cyprus is about to face her greatest challenge yet… her very own survival!

Christofias, will NOT go down well in the EU for there cannot be a democratic union of modern westernized countries one of which has a communist leader! It will be disastrous and those of you who though that having TP was bad will now unfortunately see what “black sheep” REALLY means.

On the other hand, if the DISY Greek nationalists take office, Cyprus will be VERY vulnerable to Anglo-American and Greco-Turkish manipulations and this can only spell partition disguised in some complex form of a “coexistence” plan that can only serve foreign powers. The divide and rule yearning of Cyprus’ enemies will have at last been attained at our expense.

There really was only ONE WAY FORWARD all along, and that was for ALL Cypriots to accept and embrace democracy with a unanimous love for CYPRUS; not Greece, not Turkey, not England, but Cyprus! That meant that each and every Cypriot had to put aside their ethnic background for once in their life and realize that what has been causing the problems all along were Turkish nationalism and Greek nationalism playing tug of war. In other words, what Cyprus always needed was CYPRIOT NATIONALISM.

This maniacal persistence by so many of our foolish compatriots; both GC and TC, can only result in the disintegration of our island country. Those fools who think that a dissection of our country will lead to peace have not learned anything from the past.

This “Greek” & ”Turkish” nationalism CANCER that has manifested in our brains and is eating us away MUST BE REMOVED at all costs if we are to ever survive as a people called “Cypriots”. Unless we REJECT Turkey and REJECT Greece and focus our love and attention on our REAL country Cyprus we will never see the light of day.

Yeah well it is gone forever, one side the Turksih Cypriots demanding their Turkishness and 1/3 of the other side declaring their undivided love for their Greekness....... Cyprus has been lost forever, Thank God I love the country I live in

i echo that ...what a load of rubbish ...cyp nationalism ....how and with what momentum ....this is not the SIMS ...you IT geek ...cyprus will always need Greece ,Turkey and THE E.U etc in the future if only to assist with large scale projects and asssitance in mineral mining etc

cypriots are not some sort of elitest group they are largely sheep and they need to helped to reach their fields to graze but hopefilly not to the slaugter ...as for the E.U AND U.S ..look at what they did in serbia

the box of delights just opened for very ethnic group to declare independence world wide ...they chose to destablise the serbs creating a new furnace of hate ...we must work to prevent this in cyprus not a isolation of the TRNC but a 2 way communty project

its time ...yes i may have changed my tune ,somewhat ...but i work towards economic and social solutions not ignorance and wild dreams GR ...

REH STOP ACTING AND DREAMING .....
we can not stand alone we are just 1 million people togeather ...we need help because economicly speaking if we go alone we will need to compensate the north on most projects ($$$$ come over from turkey for projects )

we will need their assistance in some matters adn yes we will take influence from them ...they are our neighbours as are isreal (salt desalnation plants projects ) egypt for gas mining etc

we will need to help and work politically with all these nations ....

in time we can work alone but you need to see transition

we need a government that works on transparency in its duties ...a more open democracy in years to come ....no more jobs via meson etc ...
