Kasoulides is well respected and known abroad. Don't forget that he was in charge of our EU negotiations and look where he leaded us, to Europe.
Kasoulides has the personality and the ability to take the country forward and give Cyprus a new image.

Actually, I am quite surprised at your choice, given you hard lines against the Turks/Invasion I thought you would easily have been a TPap supported. - My hard lines? You are wrong. Being against illegalities and wanting the restoration of our human rights in our own country, it's not a provilege only of Pap's supporters. I voted NO at the referendum but that doesn't mean I support Pap. He used my NO to build his campaign but I didn't give him this authority. He didn't do a single thing to promote OXI and bring to his country better days as he promised. On the contrary. But as you see he got what he deserved -

No wonder the polls got it wrong, just goes to show, that the show is not over untill the fat lady sings (no offence intended to the larger ladies of course)

Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but knowing what was entailed in the AP and the fact that it was so unacceptable to the GC community, It makes me sick to think that Kassoulides voted YES, knowing full well the consequesnces.

If this is not selling us out, then I don't know what is.

I hope you are right in what you say regarding better days, but my own predictions are very different from yours and the weather ahead is not good.

I pray.

It amazes me how people are surprised that we refugees did not give Tassos a mandate for 25 years so that he doesn't get disturbed every 5 years with elections.

I would like to know what may be, this new image that so many seem to think is all we need to remove Turkey from Cyprus.

Does image move mountains?

It seems to me that people where growing impatient, that is all, and any change is better than no change.

The price we pay for the "rapid-progress" society we now live in.

ela reh DT ...THANK GOD .HE GOT Through ...do you think the TPAP voters will give him their vote

i met all 3 of the candidates with a friend who is body language expert and she said he seemed the only comfortable politician ..

also his policies match my believes

well i hope today is the first stage to a new democracy and new attempts on the cyprus issue and we can begin working on the other issues in cyprus

thank god tpap and the other scum in his cabinet could be gone

can you give me you opinion do you think he will win it ...or will christofatcat side up with TPAP ?

BRO MY CONCERNS

he was asked by my friends on education issues and he was very anti private schools ,very anti computers and anti work experience for kids ...i mean does he want a nation of morons ....i guess so

then i asked him on infrastructure planning ,coms and future planning ...and he dithered on and on about how we should look to cuba and russia pre the end of communism ...local work lobbies and share a job schemes

to be honest ... i know it sounds arrogant but i think only a moron would vote for him and tpap

kasoul ...is the only real option for greek cypriots who want solutions and attempts to move the country on in sensiable fashion and he does want a cyp solution

i hope he wins next week ....

Ides re pelle pou en diafonoume stin ousia?

This hilarious show that I was speaking about, they are about to vote Dimitrakis (not that I have a problem with the person, his ideas and his ridiculous party is the big problem). The result will be what after all the humiliation that TPap had brought to us, now our humiliation will be even more hilarious.

Sinaxteite oulloi oi pellofasistes(tzie esou mesa) na doume ti tha kamoume

Let us hope that Kasoulides will put the Cypriot identity at the very top . Christofias a communist President of Cyprus , what a bloody joke !!

Did you see what we are also agreeing?

I never believed in all those polls that had him ending 3rd.
If he finally gets elected he will give a new image to Cyprus.

Christofias, in my opinion, is not suitable for president.

Papadopoulos supporters do not have a monopoly on patriotism. Get over yourself.

So I guess now you are try to tell me you are a patriot?

Come on DT, please.

Just tell me this, what did you vote at the annan referendum? When you answer this I will tell you why I asked.

I voted NO and spent the next 4 years arguing with people who voted yes.

Ok thanks.

I asked the question to get a better understanding of you. You voted NO becasue you believed and I guess still do believe it was the wrong way to go right? But you voted a for a guy that voted YES. The YES vote was to give away our country and thats the bit I don't understand. You seem happy to give up your own belief of the NO to go with a YES vote that can bring us no good. Confused mate!

The fact that he voted YEs must tell you something about his intentions, I fear for the future, really I do and even if you did want to shove that other vote somewhere, it would have been too late by then, we would have been sold.

Convince me that I am wrong, because thats the way I see it.

i just saw your signature on the bottom. Have a nice life, call back when it changes.

Just answer the post mate, i'll hand you back the dummy you just spat out. Deal?
