How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I never believed in all those polls that had him ending 3rd.
If he finally gets elected he will give a new image to Cyprus.

Christofias, in my opinion, is not suitable for president.

Alas, RAFA my dear, I don't think he will be give us the image we imagine. He will certainly give a new image and that will be one where sadly, Turkey WILL be total charge of our country.

Actually, I am quite surprised at your choice, given you hard lines against the Turks/Invasion I thought you would easily have been a TPap supported.

No wonder the polls got it wrong, just goes to show, that the show is not over untill the fat lady sings (no offence intended to the larger ladies of course)

Papadopoulos supporters do not have a monopoly on patriotism. Get over yourself.

I voted NO and spent the next 4 years arguing with people who voted yes.

And to save you time in your quest for who are patriots and who are not since obviously someone vested you with this power..let me say from now that I am a Traitor.

Ok thanks.

I asked the question to get a better understanding of you. You voted NO becasue you believed and I guess still do believe it was the wrong way to go right? But you voted a for a guy that voted YES. The YES vote was to give away our country and thats the bit I don't understand. You seem happy to give up your own belief of the NO to go with a YES vote that can bring us no good. Confused mate!

The fact that he voted YEs must tell you something about his intentions, I fear for the future, really I do and even if you did want to shove that other vote somewhere, it would have been too late by then, we would have been sold.

Convince me that I am wrong, because thats the way I see it.

Seems you have just convinced me I am right then.

Zan, thanks, but faith won't buy the security when all is lost. I was giving DT the opportunity to turn me, to make me understand that, that he thinks I lack, but I don't think he is the man for it.

Never mind, I will just go on believing as I do, bacause so far, I haven't seen one good reason why Kassoulides is a better candidate since he was happy to ditch us before. Can we really change the spots of a leopard??

As for Signatures, goes with my mood of the day, you get over it.

Kasoulides is well respected and known abroad. Don't forget that he was in charge of our EU negotiations and look where he leaded us, to Europe.
Kasoulides has the personality and the ability to take the country forward and give Cyprus a new image.

Actually, I am quite surprised at your choice, given you hard lines against the Turks/Invasion I thought you would easily have been a TPap supported. - My hard lines? You are wrong. Being against illegalities and wanting the restoration of our human rights in our own country, it's not a provilege only of Pap's supporters. I voted NO at the referendum but that doesn't mean I support Pap. He used my NO to build his campaign but I didn't give him this authority. He didn't do a single thing to promote OXI and bring to his country better days as he promised. On the contrary. But as you see he got what he deserved -
