How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Although I do not vote and neither di I belong to any political party , I beleive that it is a foregone conclusion that the incumbent President will be elected from round one.

Tpap would never forgive him if he was the one vote that got him in power again...The grand master plan would not work then.....The true meaning of "Shadow President".... :wink: :lol:

I voted for Kasoulides. I voted for Progress (against the statues quo) I voted for Europe for the West for the NEW GENERATION.

You all got me wrong. I meant that 'Iceman' will vote for GR, so the North gets its Partition. It seems its going to happen after the Kossovan Ballot. :wink: :wink:

First round of presidential elections concluded

The first round of the 2008 Presidential elections was concluded. The final island wide results are the following:
Voted: 462,847 (89.42%)
Abstentions: 10.38%
Valid votes: 97.36%
Invalid votes: 1.68%
Blank votes: 0.95%

Ioannis Kasoulides : 150,996 33.51%
Dimitris Christofias : 150,016 33.29%

Tassos Papadopoulos : 143,249 31.79%
Marios Matsakis : 3,460 0.77%
Kostas Kyriakou (Outopos): 1,092 0.24%
Kostas Themistokleous : 753 0.17%
Andreas Efstratiou : 713 0.16%
Christodoulos Neofytou : 243 0.05%
Anastasis Michael : 117 0.03%
