I don't know how many times I have to tell you but I could not give a shit how who recognises the "RoC"...It is illegal and will be reversed or the TRNC/KKTC will be recognised in order to redress the situation......The CYPRUS REPUBLIC is what I recognise and what world wants to recognise but can't because of one hasty decision by the UN in 1964......All other decisions have been made on that one wrong decision and you can support the wrong if you like but that does not make it right. It just goes to show what you are after and that is the loss of our rights under the Zurich agreement......It seems you have had the same aspirations as Makarios, Sampson, Grivas and the Greek Megali idea all along. All miscarriages of justice have to be challenged and that is what I plan to keep on doing. You can carry on supporting this miscarriage but you can no longer plead ignorance to it because I have explained it to you a hundred times and a hundred more if need be. The non-acceptance of the fact will also see the island split for good and I can live with that though I would like to see us united but I am sure it will tear your plans apart.

As for the EU recognising Cyprus...They don't...They recognise the "RoC" and that is only part of Cyprus.......We are working on the rest.....

Why is it so difficult to understand that the TC's do not feel represented by the RoC. There is nothing there for us. Once the TC's were ejected (or if you prefer 'they voluntarily left') the government posts following 1963, the RoC has looked after the interests of everyone EXCEPT the TC's.

We just do not feel part of the RoC as it is now.

Maybe tomorrow is a new beginning. If the polls are correct there may well be a new President and with it new hope.

You don't have to accept the TRNC/KKTC...Neither do you have to accept the "RoC"....WE CANNOT DEMAND ANYTHING FROM THE "ROC" because the Zurich agreement does not exist in that state and niether does the full constitution that was part of a united Cyprus....I am sure that you will also accept the laws when they put you out of business in the K because of parking and taxes....And he calls me a plonker

There are very few people here that want Cyprus to stay the way it is now, and there are even fewer that want a permanent partition.

Its how we reunite that matters and this has been debated on this forum from day 1. The people of the RoC have voted today, they have voted for a change which shows that there is hope.

As they say in Turkish ' Hayırlı olsun ' (roughly translated - lets hope for the best)
