The Greek troops in Cyprus numbered one division, which brings the numbers up to around 10 000. After their withdrawal there was a number of officers who took posts in the national guard. Their number varied between 300 and 600. They were there with American and Turkish cuncurrence, thus making sure the national guard was nevr turly under Cypriot command, but under NATO control. These officers were not part of the ELDYK force so their names would not be on the official lists, but that does not justify arbitrarily blowing up their numbers to 7000.

These are cheap tricks to justify the colonisation of the north. But to whom are you trying to justify it? The people most directly affected are the TCs and they do not give a monkey's about Greek officer and such.

The assertion that between 1964 and 1968 there were thousands of TC casualties is totally ridiculous. Recheck your facts and events between 1964 and 1967.

I have answered you on this but as usual you have not understood it or just ignored it...I have no idea but I am sure that it certainly isn't the 200,000 that is coming out of the "RoC" propaganda books!!!!!

I will also like to ask you...How many TCS have been allowed to return to government since 1974?????How many of our rights, under the Zurich agreement has been returned to us since Makarios negated it. As for the numbers of Russians...Do you even understand what the implications are???
