I really can't understand the reason why does a Ph.D. needs such a funny propaganda. As it is seen he didn't visit North for touristic purposes. He visited the journalists of TC community. I can't imagine what the reactions of such Ph.Ds would be if direct trade and flies were approved.

As it is known, the first example of it was the revelation of the reality by MAKARIOS himself personally. In the summit meeting which took place between the President of the Cypriot Turks, Rauf DENKTAÞ and Archbishop MAKARIOS on Jan. 27 – Feb. 12 1977, DENKTAÞ adviced him to tell the truth to the families of missing people, instead of making propaganda. Upon this MAKARIOS admitted the abuse of such humane event with his words “You did not leave me any means other than propaganda.”
