As for perspicacious predictions from the Pythia ...

I perceive President Papadopoulos will perform with panache, his panacea pampering our people perennially. :D

What’s this, oh great and powerful Oracle?? Were you having a bad week?? It seems that your prediction about Papadopoulos was incorrect...

However, I'm willing to just ignore that (everybody has ‘dodgy’ days). So what say you for round two? Who this time will perform with Panache?

(Oh I also need your advice, I have a box of Loukoumia in front of me, and although I'm only planning on eating a few, I fear that greed will overcome me and that that particular plan will just go out of the window. So I need you to look into the future oh great one and tell me what you see, because if it's a vision of me lying on the sofa, icing sugar galore, having put on about five stone in the space of ten minutes, I need to know pronto so I can discard of those darn Loukoumia ASAP! )

If you look at my prediction it does not say he will win the elections

His panacea (all that he has done) will continue to pamper us, that's all.

Like the Pythia before me who told King Leonidas (?) that if he went forth with a battle, he would destroy a great Empire, and he took it to mean his enemy's Empire, but sadly it turned out to be his own ...... there are many ways of interpreting the visions.

So with trepidation should you follow my guidance on Loukoumia.

Suffice it to say, that I have piled on the pounds since arriving in Cyprus ... for I have re-discovered my love for "Kaloprama" as well as many other "hard-to-find-in-UK" Cypriot goodies.

Respect the Loukoumia for they pack a mighty calorie-load .... but so comforting in this icy weather! :D
