I think the English speaking population of Cyprus should stop buying the Cyprus Weekly / Mail and just get all their information from an unbiased, independent source like CF ... :D

The Cyprus Mail is good read if you support a soviet Cyprus and seek handouts each month. Those lazy extreme lefties should get a job, how about that?

Not all newspapers have to be independent but I guess it would be good if there was a Cyprus daily in English language that was independent but anyways. But I think it should be renamed to "British Mail of Cyprus" because that is what it is! Not just about politics. Even their other topics. How many times do we have to read about the British toddler that got poisoned by drinking some detergent? They wrote 4-5 articles about it in just a week.

They are extreme left views and activist journalism at its worst. People who do not speak Greek and seek read news about Cyprus actually think the Cyprus Mail is respectable paper. ptew ptew

  lefty how exactly? That's weird, from what I recall of the paper and its writers, they are far from...pretty middle of the road.

And bollocks don't they speak Greek.
Jean Christou speaks perfect Greek, as does the editor.

Is the Cyprus Mail the only English-language newspaper in Cyprus?
