LOL "Turkish Imperialistic agenda", what are you talking about, the Turks were one of the only nations who managed to fight off the REAL Imperialist powers back in the day, one of them being the whores of Europe, the Greeks, and now you are blaming the Turks for being Imperialistic?

What the hell have you been smoking?

What ever he is smoking it is evident that it's not doing his tiny brain any good at all.

LOL how god damn ironic.

So Turkey is blamed for not teaching Kurdish in schools but Germany is not to be blamed for allowing Turkish to be thought to the 5 MILLION Turks living there?

Someone please explain me this logic.

Don't you dare call me a "mate", no one needs a senile old git like you as a "mate".

I fly what ever flag I want to you twit and there's nothing you can do about it.

Did you expect me to fly the flag of the so-called "RoC" that you GCs stole at gun pint and tried to genocide us for your ENOSIS dream.

You senility seems to have made you forget that even you GCs didn't give a flying toss about the "Cypriot flag" and tried to get rid of it by means of genocide and ENOSIS with your beloved Greece.

Why do you GCs fly the foreign flag of Greece all over the place and take it to every event and sing the Greek national anthem, you twisted senile old git?

I asked twice above for these enlightened turkophiles in here to tell us how Turkey treats its own minorities.

Are Greeks and Armenians in Istanbul allowed to have teaching in their language in state schools. Can they repair their churches and orphanages? Can they elect their religious leaders freely? Go on guys, do tell us how it happens in the land of enlightenment and "non assimilation". Make us all laugh! Or are you going to rely on facts anf figures and tell us that there none of those pesky minoritied left in Turkey today since you managed to reduce them to almost zero!

And you have the nerve to criticse Germany! You hypocrites!

That last time I read a flag book, the flag of the TRNC does not match with any other national flag. It's closest vexillological brother is the Red Crescent Organization.

Nikitas you mean like the rights of the Thracian Turks who live in a "highly advanced EU country"?

There are many Church and Orphanages in Istanbul doing just fine, which one are you referring to?

Greek and Armenian can be studied in some universities as far as i know, I'm not sure about their schools but I'm certain they have Austrian, Italian, German, American, British and French, colleges here doing also great, and these are just the ones i can remember.

All teaching their own languages freely as i have many friends who graduated from them. Most of these minorities you are talking about, including the Jews, are pretty wealthy and rooted families who wouldn't bother with state schools anyways.

So what is the point you are trying to make?

You are going way over the head of the racist Greeks/GCs in this forum Dean, they don't understand what you are saying because their hate for anything Turkish/Islam does not allow them to understand.

BTW, can you tell us if the "Cypriot fag" matches with that of Greece which the GCs love to fly all over the place in Greek South Cyprus?

Is there a book for national anthems to help us understand why the GCs who call themselves "Cypriots" don't have their own national anthem but sing that of Greece?

Thracian Turks increased from 80 000 to over 150 000 and elect two members of parliament and most of the local councils in their area.

By contrast the Greeks of Istanbul, Imvros and Tenedos are reduced to less than 2000.

You are ill informed about schools and churches. The syllabus in Greeks schools in Turkey must be taught in Turkish. The teaching of Greek is allowed only as a foreign language. The religious institutions cannot repair their buildings, which has led to the delapidation and closure of most schools and churches. The Halki theological school has been closed since 1971 and Erdogan assures everyone, including the USA, that his government is "seriously studying" the possibility of its reopening.

Considering that the orthodox patriarch must be a graduate of that particular school one can see where the situation is leading.

So lay off the pretty stuff and tell the truth. We have all had enough of cynicism.

What the EU needs to do is apply the principle of mutuality and treat Turks the same way they treat minorities, with the same laws and tactics and see how they like the prohibition of repair on religious and community buildings, increased taxation and special inheritance rules, and the list goes on and on.
