She knows them but I bet she doesn't know what she's doing over there. She's like a pet that has been teached to point.
Funny though.

Why cant people give credit to the girl. In the USA you have late teenagers havent got a clue of the world map. It must be the educators.

She cannot read the map, what she is doing is recalling specific locations of countries/places on the world map it's self. The child is treated it as a game, but it's somewhat an unconventional game.

The child should be taught to hide her memory call-back as it might pose a problem when socialising with her peers. It's a well known fact that all brain cells get completely replaced from birthhood till the age of 6/7, so if she was to stop recalling her memory she would forget all those countries/continents. Take a look at this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montessori, the co-founder of google went there.

On a positive note she can name a lot more countries than the average American. I found this, it's kind of funny.

Jeremy Clarkson Interviews Americans.

Just thought I would make you all laugh.

The child is clearly gifted. At that age you couldn't teach her to point to so many places and get them right just by calling them out.

And she is far too young to read any names. I think she was amazing, her skills reminded me of me when i was that age ;) Pure genious
.

No seriously good on here and her parents.

And yes LENA I agree she is sweet.
