Brit vote for a president of the RoC…

This poll is directed at Brits living in Cyprus that…

1. Do NOT have a TC or GC ethnic background.

2. May or may not be eligible to vote in the RoC.

3. Are currently RESIDING in any part of Cyprus.

A comment as to WHY you’ve chosen a particular candidate would be a lot more informative and appreciated. Your views may not necessarily be relevant to the Cyprus problem so feel free to write about what affects you and thus your choice.

Regards, GR.

hi GR I've just voted for one of the lesser known candidates ie Marios Matsakis, know I know this may be a bit of an odd choice for a Brit but I really do beliieve that Cyprus needs some fresh blood in its leadership and if you go deeper into his thinking, than what some may consider stunts,ie the bases protest, then I think he has a lot to offer the country. I know this isnt going to happen on Sunday but thats my choice.

ps I'm looking forward to the debate on Thursday night when the 3 main contenders for the presidency will debate live on TV over how they see a solution to the problem.

I am officially British but native GC, and in the process of obtaining my Cypriot ID.

I have been informed that I cannot vote in the forthcoming election as I have been resident for less than 6 months.

Will I also be excluded from this election because I am not up to scratch on all requirements?
