How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Zan,the 'TRNC' exists de-facto,but not de-jure.The Cypriot Republic is the legal entity that covers the whole island, apart from where the S.B.A.s are located.

Aiden, don't you think that attitude is rather self-delusiona? Like it or not, the north of Cyprus is outside of (south) Nicosia's control, and it's administration is known as the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. This failure to recognize a reality is like failing to see that your legs are cut off, and you're still preparing to run a marathon....

Only because the governments we live under choose to regard it thus. It doesn't change the reality on the ground.

DT.,I know a lot about constitutional matters,so therefore I had to clearly state that the 'TRNC' is a de-facto state. The de-jure Cypriot Republic covers the whole island, except for the S.B.A.s' territory. It's a shame that some people can't tell the difference though.

Great example expat, they still feel they have legs, they can see them but across the other side of the room but they still swear they have control over them although they are 10 feet away from their body, ludicrous.

If we're missing the legs then you're obviously missing the top part which includes the brains.

Who's being delusional when the whole world tells you you'e not a state and still you pretend it is?

You can play around with the words but at the end of the day you have lost control over 37% of the island and we have over 63% capiche, each to their own, you in the south we in the north, unification if desired by both sides will happen but obviously we neither have the vision or the will to compromise so it looks like you will not get your legs back.
