Dear dick-brain Kiks, forget what it says on my passport it is what runs through my veins that counts. My blood is pure Cypriot blood. my love and loyalty is to Cyprus and no other.

Circumstances beyond my control has divided this beautiful island to North and South, TC and GC and sadly I had to choose one or the other. I have made my choice and it is common knowledge what that choice is. Learn to live with it Papad lap-dog that you are.

Above all I found this part the most interesting:

So those that say the British were and still are the enemies of a truly free Cyprus are not far off. The only force that can counter foreign interference in Cyprus is a Cypriot national consciousness, so this must be neutralised by all means.

In this context we can understand the meaning of George Ball's comment to Major Packard: "Son, you don't get it, the game here is partition".

I did notice though that TMT repressed and killed those TCs who voiced opinions about Cypriotism accusing them of serving Greek interests. And that the TMT had the separation of the communities as a major goal since 1958 and even before. So the TMT was not a simply part of a defensive strategy but a very much proactive one aimed at separation if not more.

Looking at the situation today it is clear that the TMT objectives of separation, partition and Enosis with Turkey have been met. The only thing missing is international recognition. It looks like the TCs played the game rather well and succeded, and there is no doubt about who the loser is. So why all the moaning by some people in this forum?

Do you have any inkling of the number of TCs (whether moderate or extreme) who share Kikapu's views on the Cyprus issue. I think you will find that he is in a unique position of being the sole owner of these views, so I would not put too much credence there.

Right, that's what I'm talking about MR-from-NG, which is, that you are a Cypriot, end of story. Does living in the North makes you less of a Cypriot, I really do not think so. You are from the island of Cyprus, and legally the 100% of Cyprus remains to be Cyprus. Just because there is an Occupation and a illegal " TRNC state", does not mean that part of the island has broken away and drifted away. Until that happens or the North is officially accepted by the International Body as not being part of greater Cyprus, then you can once again change your stance on your nationality. But guess what, no matter how many times you may change into new Nationalities and Citizenship's, you will never, never, never, be able to say, that you were not born in Cyprus and that you are not a Cypriot.

It's best that you learn to live with it, or else you are living under a false pretence.

What am I talking about, you are living under a false pretence in the North under an assumed name, different from the one you were born into. You may have a new ID and a new passport from the "TRNC" MR-from-NG, but you are a Bloody Cypriot just like me and our good friend Miltiades.

We should at least drink to that and forget about the rest of YOUR problems.

I explained this on another thread few days ago.

The direct translation of "Gece Kondu" is "Night Erected, Placed, Put..."

It was a common thing in the 60's in Turkey for people to put up a house in one night, working from Dusk to Dawn with many people and material and tools. The problem was, they never owned the land or had a permit to build. This happened and may still happen today in the suburbs and away from city or town centers where it would not be easily noticed. It was a way to erect your own house by circumventing rules and regulations. Basically the land was stolen from the others and by building on it, somehow they would try and get away with it. The initial house was no more than a skeleton of a house. But more often than not, authorities would come the next day, once it was reported that an illegal house has been built on others land, the authorities would knock down the house into a pile of bricks. Where I lived around Ankara as a child after leaving Cyprus in '64, this was a common sight.

I think the "TRNC" is very much like a "Gece Kondu".
