Hello all

May I just ask all your ages?? Not that I’m being horrible or starting anything but the stuff we" say sometimes on this forum is not very mature and some what embarrassing. I mean no ones perfect and although we do not agree with what others say we do not need to retaliate to look cool. All this harsh insults and swearing really makes you look uneducated, clearly your probably not but that is how most of you sound.

How are we suppose to move forward and make Cyprus one, if you keep insulting the Turkish people? They have done nothing wrong and like us youngsters we are NOT involved. I don't think you can be names EU members if you are Racist to other cultures you still sound very behind and need lessons on equality and diversity..

What I don't understand is that people on this site are also from UK so they are use to a mixture of people and know not to be racist and if they were educated in the UK have had a few Turkish pupils in their class or living next door to them, so what’s changed??

Sophia1 many people were badly affected by the traumas that happened in Cyprus over the last 40 odd years, some members actually lived through it and the experience has left some of them feeling very angry, hurt and bitter. It is not excuses that I am making for some of the behaviour of some of the members, but it may help you if you try and understand why tempers and language get a little heated at times.

I’m 47.

I’m not racist but I find Aidan’s homophobic views abhorrent and will not let him get away with posting his views on this board without responding and exposing him as the sick person that he is. Apart from that I find his puerile comments and insults most tiresome and can’t see why Admin don’t just ban him like the rest of the Interweb has.

Apart from Aidan I have no problem with anyone else that posts on this board although I did object to that guy pushing his dubious products the other day. Perfectly reasonable for me to respond if I might say so?
