A new problem: All about energy

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Good luck to Turkey, at last people, “governments” are waking up to the consequences of their actions, and poor little old Cyprus, is punching way above her weight, you just got to laugh, I know I do

I am just waiting for the day when the “wonderful” EU will come running to Turkey, its only a matter of time, just wait and C :D :D :D

All you had to do was take one look at the attitudes of many people here towards Islam and you'd know that the only way Turkey will ever be welcomed in Europe is when they convert to Christianity.

Religious racism is the strongest of them all and it doesn’t seem to be subsiding let alone eliminated so the probability of your dream coming true is next to zero.

The learned professor obviously has not looked at a map showing all the pipelines starting in central Asia and coming towards the Med. There is the one that goes to Russia's Black Sea coast, from there with tankers to Burgas and via land pipes to Alexandroupolis in Greece. Then there is a pipeline that comes out at Israel. And there are two that go through Turkey, one goes through Greece (again!) and one comes out at Mersin.

By the same thinking the Prof applies to the mysterious corridor, Greece is more important, since it is the focal point of both central Asian and Russian oil and gas and the distributing center for the Balkans and Italy (via an undersea gas pipe). Greece also has more tankers than any other nation on earth to move the oil from the outlet points. Yet no one has spouted theories about Greece becoming some kind of super power in the world stage because of the above points. However, the Prof theorizes and concludes "partition". And there people in here who take him seriously! Give us a break will you guys!

Btw, I wouldn't put all my eggs in the oil basket as a guide for future geopolitical events as new energy sources are imminent.

It's just the Bush family that insists on archaic technology because they've invested so much in it but just watch what happens once they're out of office...
