OMG "Can you marry more than one person? "

I know muslims, they got like 6 wives. Just thought it might be the same for you guys. Is it?

What do you mean reality.... I knew muslims in the UK they had one wife because it's illegal in the UK to have more than one wife. But I had a friend from Oman, he was telling me that he is allowed to have as many wives as he desires, back in Oman obviously. He told me that 5 was a good number to have. Is there a difference between religion to you and this guy from Oman.

Is nobody going to answer my question, how does it work and why are other muslims allowed infinate wives and your not, if truly you can only have one.

The fact is TC's are not religious,we are moslem only on paper..we do not practice islam.The only time TC's go to a mosque is for funerals and even then they don't go inside...

That privilege was criminally taken away from us back in 1963

in order to give date to someone you have to know her or him but for a young gc or tc don't speak common languages common background so it is very hard to give a date. ı know a men in my city married with gc women. she never told us that she was gc and rejected her family they have 3 children .they all a member of tc community.

Never lived in Cyprus pre-1974, I only met a Turkish Cypriot on two occasions, one of those occasions was when I crossed the border when the borders opened. I prefer to keep my age private. So who goes inside the mosque? Why is there a door and an enterance if nobody enters.

When I visited the occupied area in October, I was surprised thet most women did not wear head scarfes I think I would have felt safer if they did rather than the overwhelming number of flags everywhere. That was the most uneasy thing for me visiting, denoted army and the possibility of getting harrassed

Hey umit, I am going to start a thread off. It seems that due to the huge lapse us Cypriots have had apart we have forgotted or not been told how each other are. Forgive our ignorance, it's not our fault, after all it's not like I speak to TC often, well apart from this forum.
