phoenix I believe the real problem are the separatist Turkish Cypriots, whether be suporters of partition or support for the illegal trnc territory supported by Turkish military might and under occupation purporting ethnic cleansing. I am not buying their isolation, the only TC that can cry isoaltion is the one who lived and whose property and lands are in the north and was so prior to 1974. Those TC's are trully isolated the rest know that they can move to the south claim their properties and wella europena citizens without isolation.

My coment is not to suggestt that the Turkish speaking community did not experience violence and discrimination in the past it sure did, however shutting itself away will also not change the status quo, unification will end isolation and they can share in all that Cyprus has to offer, we just need to find ways to ensure that there is no violence or discrimination and there is political representation thatw will ensure the rights not only of TC's but other minority groups on the Island nation.

As far as am concern so long as am not allowed to take occupancy in my ancestral home then isolation stays.
