Why is Iran looked upon the way it is

Postby Spetz » Fri Feb 08, 2008 3:28 pm

I know this is a really ignorant question, but why are Irani people looked badly towards?
Besides the obvious, it seems they are looked worse upon than many surrounding races which I don't understand
PS. Only got to Cyprus 2 weeks ago today so excuse my ignorance :)

Spetz, there is an old Iranian saying which may be of use in your enquiry:-

"Believe what you see and lay aside that which you hear".

I can't speak for anybody else, but the Iranians I have known have all been very good people.

I second that; down to earth and very hospitable.

I agree also. I only knew one Iranian but he is a really nice guy. But is Spetz talking about Iranians in Cyprus or how Iran is shown on TV these days?
