How about eh Government bod how would you ensure that TCs could stop and laws that would effect them more negatively than the GCs?
ha? am sorry VP not sure what you mean here. Come again I shall try to respond.

How will you ensure that the GCs do not take decisions on our behalf that woudl effect the TCs more negatively than the GCs? eg no trade with Turkey or union with Greece.

Its time you woke up from your 1963 sleep .Enosis has been dead and buried
for many years now. Secondly the Cypriots ARE business people , they will trade with whoever serves their financial interests.
Give it a rest mate , NO ONE wants the bloody Greeks to rule over us. No ENOSIS GET IT INTO YOUR SCULL.

Why do you not answer my question, whats to stop the GC majority doing exactly that? or do I have to put my trust and future in the hands of GCs who seek vegence for what happened in 1571 lat alone 1974??

Its ok VP, when the time comes you'll have no choice. If the TC's majority vote for another solution and we agree to it as well then no one needs to convince you of anything. You'll be sitting in your backyard with your shotgun and a big sign saying "GC's not allowed to talk near my property."

As i said before there is a less and less need to convince any TC's of anything anymore. They do not have the voting power, they do not control the decision makers and they definitely are not taken seriously by Turkey.

WHat did Erdogan say to SOyer when Ferdi told him he used the pensions to pay the civil service salaries..."You Idiot!!!"

Probably not :?

I don't know really, but surely one cannot be sued for offending our intelligence day in day out ad nauseum, or for the lack of one, for that matter. So you really have nothing to worry about.

You guys voting for an agrement  wont be needing to get my shot gun out then.

If we do not have the voting right then you have to convince the Turks thats a far harder job in fact you have no chance.

I don't have too much time to join in tonight, but could not resist answering this question, yet about ENOSIS with Greece from VP, who does NOT support, but DOES support another kind of ENOSIS with Turkey. So I guess, it is not ENOSIS per se he is against, it's just, who is doing it.!!

To answer VP's question directly on ENOSIS with Greece in the future, which I will also not support, but what are the likelihood of that happening anyway. Think for a minute. This little island called Cyprus with about 1 million Cypriots on it, has one of the most powerful weapons ever obtained by her, which countries like Turkey can only dream of. She has gotten herself sitting on the table with giants like Germany, France, UK, Spain, Italy and many more who overshadow her by Land Mass, Population, Wealth and Economy, and yet, she has an equal say and a veto power. It will be like a kid in a room with grown ups, and yet, she will not be looked down upon and will be equal to everyone else. Now, give me one good reason why would Cyprus throw away any of these positions that she has gotten and enjoys them, so that she can join Greece, so that she can be directed by Athens with those with the same power and position she just threw away. What benefits could she possible gain from it. Why would she throw away a "Royal Flush" to get "two Jacks".!! One more reason as to why VP really has no argument about ENOSIS with Greece. It only keeps his dreams of another ENOSIS with Turkey alive.

As for his other argument about Cyprus trading/not trading with Turkey has to be the stupidest reasons for wanting to have ENOSIS with Turkey.!!
