The fact that Turkey who is occupying a part of the republic and does not recognise the legality of the Cypriot Government is laughable to say the least. When I say that Turkey occupies part of Cyprus I'm only stating how the EU views the position , I wont bother pasting links as I'm certain you concur .

As far as the moralities involved here let me state that I find some actions of the Cypriot government totally unacceptable not least the promotion of the island as Greek , since not only is it not Greek it is also hypocritical to say on one hand that the ROC is the only government for the entire island and to then dismiss a section of the Cypriot people , ie T/Cs and others who are not G/Cs. I'm of the opinion that as time goes by and with no viable solution at hand , more and more T/Cs will demand their rights from the ROC and they will get them , make no mistake about this !!

If you do not recognise that the real Cypriot nation is the Cyprus Republic, then what rights are you referring to??? The Zurich agreement or any other agreement does not exist within the framework of the "RoC"...That was the whole point of negating the Cyprus Republic by gun point in the first place. The people that ask for us to dissolve the TRNC/KKTC and just walk into the "RoC" and ask for our rights back are as blind as blind can be...Our rights do not exist in the "RoC"...END OF!!!!Our rights are only in the Cyprus Republic and that does not exist except for in the buffer zone....The official name given is that for the South...It has been suspended in the North..That is a fact....It will not make it to the North either.....We can shout until we are blue in the face...We will not and the "RoC" is not and is not obliged to give us anything but minority status in the South, get anywhere......

zan the "RoC" or the Cyprus Republic dont matter we dont recognize either and if we are to join together just the UN stated in the AP there will be a virgin birth the "RoC" and TRNC will both be disolved and a new United Cyprus Republic will be born.
