:? Absolutely nothing! Just making a point that you guys are extreme because it’s either:

1. Accept my fabrication that everything was burned to the ground!

OR

2. Accept my second fabrication that nothing happened at all!

Both are extremist and false views. How about accepting the TRUTH of what the UN says happened in the entire document?

We only offer the second because you spend all you time trying to discredit the "numbers" its just not worth arguing the point as it changes nothing. The mistrust between the 2 communites occured through events of 1963 and 1974, its becuase of these that we are divided today and cannot find a structure that both sides can commit to.

It is obvious that the truth lies somewhere between 1. and 2. Lets take the middle point where some of it did happen and some not. Stop bickering and lets look forward to the future. Whils we play th 'blame game' timeis flying.

You are full of shit because the UN report is written in such a way that NOBODY can possibly figure out how many damaged and/or looted houses belong to TCs and how many to GCs… end of story!

We know how many Cypriots lived in one household (on average).
We know how many homes were destroyed (by September 1964).
So, we know how many Cypriots' homes were destroyed.
And we know how many Cypriots were displaced by the conflict (by then).
So, we can estimate who lost what.

For the sake of argument, I started from the assumption that every evacuated Greek Cypriot's home was completely destroyed. I made my data as sympathetic to the Greek Cypriot side as possible. I assumed that no displaced Greek Cypriots' homes survived at all - not partially destroyed, not decayed and looted... Any other (more realistic) assumption would mean the Greek Cypriots had lost fewer homes and the Turkish Cypriots had lost more.

I am in agreement with you,VP...No solution will be found till both sides take a good look at themselves, admit their roles in this mindless conflict, and show some empathy and compassion for the "other"...We are as far away from that as from the Sun...So we might as well take it to the lunatic extreme...Nothing ever happened in Cyprus....The TCs woke up one day in 1963,decided they were bored and started deserting their places of birth, their villages and their homes, just to brighten up their lives...The GCs did the same in 1974....They looked around and realised life for the TCs were all roses after their rush of blood to the head,so they decided to move on mass to the South just to experience what it was like to lose your homes and the lands of your ancestors...And life has been so good since then that no one wants to return,no one wants to solve anything...
Life is good in Cyprus...And it is getting better by the year for all...So there is nothing to worry about...Lets drink and be merry...Watch some sport on the telly...eat some nice food...In 100 years time, none of us will be here....I leave you with that nice ,cheerful thought... :)

The TCs deserted their homes in 63 primarily to facilitate their dream of TAKSIM and not due to GC aggression against them.

Your propaganda is not appreciated, and you can stick your tiresome and pathetic pleas for compassion and empathy right up your bum..
