Mercedes and BMW count

Postby JoJo » Thu Feb 07, 2008 3:45 pm

Whilst drivig today (only 30 minute drive in total), I counted close to 100 Merc and BMW's. I'm sure I missed a few. The conclusion is that I am in the wrong business and should have been a Merc and/or BMW dealer.....Go the Honda's !!! :D

Hey don't become a Merc,BMW or Audi dealer in Cyprus. Most are on HP,the finance companies make the majority of the money.

Sorry,I understand now.You will be lucky. If you want to have a go I can refer you to my brother who is a partner in a German dealership in Limassol. He is English so you will have an equal chance at interview.

Seriously, most of those really expensive cars you see are imported from the UK. However all their finances are from Cyprus, therefore if you were ever to decide to become some sort of financial advisor you would probably make more money.

Credit card spending up 21 per cent

CYPRIOTS continued their credit card spending frenzy in January, with figures showing a 21 per cent hike over the same month last year.

Over €4.0 million a day was spent on credit cards during the month, recording a total of just over €135 million.

In addition, more than €48 million was spent abroad by Cypriots during the month, an increase of 23 per cent over January 2007.

This was in the Cyprus Mail today!!!!

What are people spending all this money on, apart from Merc and BMW's???

Luxury items.Don't forget they have got the British desease, spend now pay the interest but don't pay the balance off.
Crunch time comes later..if all else fails transfer your debt. There's another business opportunity..credit.
