The development going on in Paphos

Postby Willis » Wed Feb 06, 2008 1:50 pm

Just returned from an enjoyable visit to Paphos.
Was previously there in August but noticed the work going on/road closure by the McDonalds, Pizza Express area. Forgive my ignorance but what are they doing there and when will it be finished ?

There are a number of discussions and photos on Cyprus Living; see web page http://www.cyprusliving.org/phpbb/nfphp ... php?t=6133
looks like it is being covered with tarmac for either one way traffic or pedestrianisation.

I don't think anyone is! :D
hopefully it will be an improvement. It would be nice to have a pedestrianised walkway with shops and stalls and sea front cafes.
