Satellite TV in Cyprus?

Hello,

I want to get satellite digital TV channels in Limassol but I don't know how to go about it.

I had a look at Nova Cyprus, Nova Hellas and Sky digital.

Nova Cyprus seems straight forward, with 199 pounds installation and about 26 per month.

What are the costs involved for the rest?

Get competitive quotes from a number of installers who will give you the cards for whichever channels you want. But be careful, there are many "cowboys" in the business, as well as reliable companies.

Can you suggest some reliable companies?

Do they give you the cards for free, or you have to pay per month to get them?

No, I live in Larnaca District, but there are ads in the papers.

In my case I paid a one-time £35 for a VIAaccess card with about 50 programmes of various types. You may have to pay more for other encryption types requiring a "black box".
