Why should it be Nicosia Aidan?
Why not go the whole hog and revert to its original name of Ledra?
Joking aside there is a logical reason why it is called Lefkosia/Lefkosha this is because the city was re-built by Lefkos (son of Ptolemy1 ) in 300bc so it would appear both sections of the comunity have got it just about right. It was renamed Nicosia in the 1100s ad by i think Venitians who could not get their tongues around the local pronunciation.
Have a nice day
Well that just proves furthermore what an ignorant tosser this BC really is, and that paliometexo is apparently no better for simply agreeing with any tosser who takes cheap shots at Turks with no clue of history.
Go play with your coins Kiwi tosser, you have no place here, and take your bum-chum with you!

They've got one thing in common with Irish Roman Catholics - they buy the propaganda line, hook, line,& sinker so easily, which is why they're so extremely gullible.

We'll scrap Lefkosa and Lefkosia if you change London to Londino.

So I guess you would be ok with Wellington reverting to its origianl Maori name of 'Te Whanganui a Tara'
