How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

What was your reason for invading Turkey?

British bribery?

Holy lands?

Old disputes?

Hellenism?

Megali Idea?

Stealing our secret recipe for the real baklava and feta cheese?

Save it. The then Greek government was a puppet of France and England, you know it very well.

Care to explain how 200,000 Greeks, more than the whole Turkish Cypriot population, were ethnically cleansed from Istanbul in one single night?

Puppet hey? Well that justifies it then

The recently revealed CIA papers show that you were planning another attack in 1974 through Thrace which was blocked by the US, also another puppet government?

Care to explain why you burned down the city of Izmir and tortured its people on your way out?

Or do you make a habit of murdering unarmed civilians when defeat becomes certain?

What CIA papers? Any links?

You are digging your own hole here. Care to explain what business the Turks had invading Anatolia, the Aegean islands, Cyprus and mainland Greece? Care to explain why your barbaric ancestors destroyed thousands of ancient Greek monuments, why they killed millions and millions of people? And, worst of all, can you explain why Turks today are actually PROUD of all these?

Sure look it up, it is quite recent news. Also revealed many details about the CIA involvement in Cyprus and recorded conversations of high ranking CIA officials about the time, quite interesting read but extremely long.

When you say Turks, I suppose you mean the Ottoman Empire ye? You know very well why the Ottomans came to Cyprus, and your ancient monuments are still up and running as beautiful touristic sites all over Turkey along with the monuments of many other civilizations who came there before you.

What millions and millions of people are you talking about, any links?

So you are saying that it was some sort of a revenge act that was 600 years delayed?

You are not very good at justifying crimes are you. You just want to shut your eyes and take cheap shots at Turks with no real evidence.

Enough with the "Ottomans, not Turks" nonsense. The act of a single man, who "renamed" your nation is not enough to wipe you clean. Do you need proof for the millions of people the Turks have killed? Open a history book, you'll find plenty. Or go to France and say Turks did not kill a million Armenians and you'll find more proof. Or look up the Chios massacre, the fall of Constantinople, the siege of Vienna, the battle of Manzikert, the Pontian genocide and many, MANY more

As for the monuments you left standing, they are no more than ruins, half-destroyed remnants, a very small percentage of the Greek heritage of the lands that you invaded. Sure, you now make money out of them since after all those years of Turkish presence there is not much more to show to the world. Well done
