Turks are not welcome!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Never mind a brain you need to grow a tiny head first to be able to hide the two cells your God saw fit to issue you with you racist subhuman scum.

Hope you stay penniless and never have the opportunity to return to the UK.

If you haven't got the money to move to Mars you could always dig a grave and lie in it, I'm sure there'll be plenty of volunteers to "cover you up".

This doesn't mean I would sell out my country because of denktas or any other tosser. It only means I'd do everything I can to have TC's live a better life. The problem with the TRNC is that when you have limited resources corruption is sky high and the only way I believe we are gonna lower corruption is economic development.

Umit, I am sure you will agree that if it wasn't for Denktas and Dr. Kucuk there would have been no TCs left in Cyprus for Turkey to save.

I'm sure you would also agree that if it wasn't for people like them the likes of Kick-a-poo and BirKibrisli would have sold the TCs out to the GCs and Greeks way back in 1950's/60's.

Eric

I am not trying to say that I don't respect what denktas has done for TC's and I know that if the events of 74 had not taken place I would not be here replying to you :D . But Denktas is a "politican" and I do think that he has done a lot of bad stuff in the TRNC after 74. Like saying " Gelen Türk, Giden Türk". What I am saying is that whatever situation we are in the TRNC is our country and we should put personal aspirations behind and look after it. If we reach a reasonable deal with GC's so be it. But that day may never come. I just want TC's to think about tommorow and gt their act together.

I happen to agree with what Denktash said Umit, if it wasn't true we would not have Turkish before the Cypriot.

If I didn't agree with him I would have to agree that the TCs born outside of the TRNC are no TCs either.

I also agree that we TCs should get our acts together and work for the recognition of the TRNC because as we know the Gcs will not agree to anything less than them as the sole rulers/owners of the whole island and us TCs as second class citizens.

Keep the partition and keep the TRNC so that our people (TCs) can live and prosper in peace, that's what I'm working for Umit.

be sure to drink plenty of water Eric.

Do you want me to pass some over to you? I mean, seen as you GCs are fast running out of water in the Greek South Cyprus?

i don't see how you think the trnc will prosper from the status quo being kept instead of a solution.
the property market is over, partly due to global credit markets and partly due to the way foreign buyers are being treated. prices are sky rocketing out of control. inflation is mega. your own people are being cut off the electric and starving.as for looking after the trnc, quarrying away the mountians, building concrete jungles and littering the whole island. thats without the rain forest of paper the goverment must use in its offices daily. hotels are empty.
the expats are uping sticks and leaving due to the constantly insane racist goverment laws.
the only way the trnc will prosper is for the tc people to get a grip sooner rather than later. thats if it is not already to late.

I think the T/Cs will get a grip once they stopped listening to people like Zan and reject the partitionist theories . As for becoming a part of Turkey well look what is waiting for them .
So-called "honour killings" continue to be a grim reality wherever conservative social mores resist the rule of law.

"In Turkey, a recent government study estimated that around 1,000 honour killings have been committed in the past five years. The victims are mostly young women, murdered by male relatives for transgressing chauvinistic social rules.

Women have been killed for having illicit affairs, talking to strangers, or even for being the victim of rape. Turkey's justice system has recently increased penalties for honour killings, and ended the practice of allowing murderers to claim family honour as an extenuating circumstance. However, getting a child relative to carry out the killing remains a horrifying way around the law.""

I dont think the T/Cs are ready to travel back in time !

Or recognition so that things can stabilise. The poor in the UK are having to go through the same thing in power costs and housing.
