If I want to be the first responder (to show I'm "awake") to threads initiated by those in the UK and CY, posting at 10:00/11:00 PM won't help. Besides, by that time I'm in la-la land. :)

thats why nothing is done well or efficiently here! there doesnt seem to be a sense of achievement, so many cypriots seem to sit around waiting for life to happen while they are busy doing other things...!!!

Really ...

My perception is that things are done at a seemingly effortless task.

Nothing is left undone ... all is sorted... but communication and amiability and friendliness have been in the background the whole time...

No struggle, no effort ... just effortless achievement. :D

well from personal experience starting and running my own business, people just arent willing to put the effort in. The minimum necessary to see a job done. They dont see beyond the task at hand,,, the long term....
Social conditioning and the cypriot 'problem' blinds people from the possibilities and kills the creativity that ought to thrive here!!!

Well if you were starting your own business up in Cyprus ... which by all World financial rankings is one of the easiest places for the self employed ..... then the onus was on YOU to get it to work ...


If it didn't work out ... you have to accept responsibility ...
