Zan,didn't you know that Eric Dayi is a load of crap? I wouldn't be too surprised if he & Rauf Denktash were pals though!

He claims in the article to have one wish and that Is Unified Cyprus under federal system, yet all other actions and speeches in Turkey indicate otherewise. These are reported by Zaman which I care none of what it has to say.
Secondly a man with vision and a dream for aunified Cyprus does not go and light up a flag each night. A man with vision says I;ll take the flag down, you change the anthem to a more inclussive one. I'll ask Turkish troops to leave if you ask the Greek military presence to leave on a symbolic day they depart on the same same day, to ensure the safety of my people you need to request more UN troops to be stationed in Cyprus still we reach an agreement.
The rest is crap mate,

humanist did you know that Talat asked for a timetable and papsdop rejected it.
did you know Ban ki Moon has blamed both sides equally for not starting talks around the 8th July agreements?
You are very one sided and do not look out of the box, you side is just as much to blame as mine, our excuse is Turkey influence on the north whats yours?

Tpap rejected the timetable for a very simple reason which you've conveniently left out. Talat said that if there's no solution by the end of the tima allowed then we agree on a 2 state solution.
Thats not negotiating thats blackmail. What incentive does talat have since he'll know that if he doesn't agree he'll get a recognised state anyway.

So we go along with the papdop version of open ended talks, its been 45 years and nothing time to put a limit on things so both sides take things seriously otherwise at this rate we will negotiating for the next 1000 years and still nothing. If these leaders are not forced into a corner neither side will commit.

why are you in a hurry? Thought you were happy with the status quo. Think you even said at some point that the is no cyprus problem anymore. Non-recognition is just the price you pay to rule yourselves.(according to you)

actually the only delaying tactics here were exercised by Pertev. Even he got fed up with talat and dumped him.
