The National Anthem

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Utu,the Cypriot national anthem should be completely an original composition with original lyrics, not a rehash of other compositions & lyrics.

A fair number of national anthems fall under that category (like here in the USA with "The Star Spangled Banner" for example)

The Cypriot national anthem's lyrics would have to be in all 3 languages.

Whatever is chosen, it cannot bear any resemblence to either the Greek or Turkish anthems. Showing favoritism to either side is a recipie for trouble.

The fact that the flag was designed by a Turkish Cypriot is of great symbolic significance.
