What a surprise, the subject of tossers, sado, s and losers is discussed and Bill crawls out from under his stone, I was not referring to you directly Bill but you obviously recognized yourself as belonging to this category.

As for meeting you personally I would rather stick pins in my eyes than spend five minutes in your company, you mention you have many friends and hobbies how can this be when you are sat on your computer all day and night trying to be funny and clever "and failing miserably"

The internet lets us say what we want without the fear of being physically attacked. An equal footing where muscle bound bullies cannot rule...I would be happy with that if I were you.......This can be taken even further with speaking out against governments and terrorists...

Zan, Oh yeah, do ya wana make somthing of it then??  He he... just joking. I totally agree with you that this is the safest way to discuss major issues, however, the verbal threats and personal insults are not the way to to move forward with the thought of a Cyprus solution. :?:

The only thing that annoys me is people having a go at someone's religion. To be honest, there is no one more surprised about this than me because I have done it in my head many times, being non religious myself. Now I am hearing it out loud by some here it just sounds insane.

Zan
Having thought about your first point I must say I would stand up to be counted & tell someone in person I have a problem with their attitude, if I felt it justified, which is why I do not hide behind a name other than my full real name.
However, I would not consider that my view will always be the right one & consequently will listen to all sides. I often have a problem with some of the bigoted views expressed by some but do not often feel the need to dignify any such postings with a response or comment.
I can see the point of & often agree with many of your views, perhaps not all, in spite of my being Greek Cypriot. Likewise I sometimes cringe at the irrational & nationalistic comments, so obviously designed to provoke, written by my compatriots. I accept almost all comments as individual viewpoints save those designed to provoke.
I agree with your comments on other peoples religions, what a convenient excuse that has been for agressors everywhere. I would no more think to impose myself or my religion on others & consequently ask & demand the same courtesy.
All the best.

Hi Micheal

OH! I think we would all stand up to these people at some point...They can only push us so far......But there is no need to be overly brave...There are a lot of nutters out there and if my GC friend had listened to those words a while back he would not be in so much trouble now....

I would also like to thank you for those kind words as well . They make a big difference believe me. Thank you :D

You are absolutely spot on, this Forum has a considerably number of people who spend their sad time thinking up what they think are smart remarks and insulting people behind the anomonity of the web.

If you met them face to face they wouldn’t have the gum shone to say boo to anyone, they remind me of the tossers who put their fingers up to you because they are protected by two ton of steel in their cars you summed them up perfectly "LOSERS"

I don't get it!!! Why bother posting if the forum bothers you so much? Don't read the forum if it upsets you! Simple.

SMUDGER, it seems you have picked up on a few posts and coloured everything based on this. Grump can be 'grumpy' but he is also one of the most helpful and willing to offer advice if you had bothered to look into this before you criticised. By all means join in but try to make sure your perspective is more informed.

Believe me, there's far worse!!! Grump is a pussycat compared to some.

I have always believed that we should treat other people the way we would like to be treated.

There is never a good enough reason to use bad language, I know we all lose it from time to time. But would anyone like thier Granny to hear them using the words which are all to often used ?

A little tolerance goes a long way.

cyprusgrump and Bill, why pick on someone new?

Postby smudgert » Mon Feb 04, 2008 6:10 pm

I am glad that you all have something to say about this subject. I find it strange that when somebody has a disc at home and two spare phone boosters from an over order, how I suddenly becoma a con man or ebay reseller. Cyprusgrump and bill both attacked me and yet I was only trying to get rid of a few things in my house. I own a cyprus ltd company and work very hard and yet these two people believe they can verbally attack me. I hope they never need to sell anything on a forum, or maybe people will think they are conning people or tell them "shame on them". I only wanted to be nice on the forum and use it and these two people have attacked me and are generally trying to slander my name. Rmember, i didn't make the products, i just had them spare to get rid of.
Shame on you both.
There is no need for this attitude towards a new member and fellow countryman just trying to clear out a few things.

All your original posts on this forum were attempting to knock out your dodgy second-hand tat… apart from this one: -

You have to accept that if you post in a public forum people will respond to you. Not all of them will respond by being so easily separated from their hard-earned as you would hope I’m afraid.

Strange how after a couple of negative responses to your adverts you come bleating to the board about your ill-treatment by Bill and myself who have just seen through your (virtually transparent) scams…

Even more interesting that the phone boosters are from an ‘over order’ yet you are just trying to clear out a few things. Does this mean that you have traded in them?

To be fair, it is possible to over order, we ordered two toilets from a bathroom shop, somewhere in Translation from English to French four were delivered. We only paid for two and tried to get the shop to collect the other two they said we would have to pay for the collection , their mistake, so here they sit. And here they will stay until someone from the shop collects them for nowt, Not my error, and I have not paid for them. And they know about it.
